With hundreds of pilots participating in more than 23 competitions (Challenger Series) around the world, the FAI World Drone Racing Championship Grand Final  at in Xiangshan Ningbo, China, from 11 to 14 December 2019 has come to a close!

The talented Korean young racer Kang successfully climb to the top of the podium alongside Australia’s Thomas Bitmatta, 20, in second place and French pilot Killian Rousseau, 15, in third. Kang also scooped the Junior title and led his national team to victory in the Team category, in which last year’s winners Australia finished in silver medal position just ahead of host nation China.

This is the second FAI World Drone Racing Championship held in China while the first one was the year before in Shenzhen. As a well recognized brand in the RC hobby, RadioLink has actively participated in the great event since the FAI Drone World Cup first launched.

In 2018, RadioLink was the only gold sponsor of the China National Team and this year, we are the cooperation brand of the Championship. It’s been a great honor to be part of it, accompanying the growth of China national team and witnessing all the unforgettable time with all lovely racers.

During the Championship, the Drone Industry Development Association was officially launched with a forum, inviting various professionals to share their original views about the drone industry. General Manager from RadioLink, Mr. Xie Bo was one of them. Mr. Xie not only shared his insights with the attended experts but also present them the representative RadioLink products including AT9S PRO, F110S, T8S and A560.

With all these incredible top racers, the 2nd FAI Drone Championship was full of exciting twists and turns. Without a doubt, this is going to be missed as it has held countless memorable moments for many racers near and far. We can’t wait for the next year!
